Mental Wellness is even more important with connective tissue disorders. You see with connective tissue disorders, individuals are already dealing with body pain or with multisymptom issues daily, difficulties with medical professionals understanding complex cases, and society norms in which lack of education and funding into rare diseases and connective tissue/Ehlers Danlos research is needed. The need for more providers educating, researching, and providing services is necessary in the success of further learning and understanding mental health manifestations with Ehlers Danlos Syndrome
